How these photos are used.

Before-and-after photography in aesthetics is easy to manipulate. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, and the limits you should read into every image on this page.

Patient consent

  • Every case is published with written photographic consent from the patient, given separately from their treatment consent.
  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time; write to concierge@truenose.com and the images are removed.
  • Photos submitted for a candidacy review are never published. They go to a certified provider only.

Photo standards

  • Unretouched. No smoothing, reshaping, slimming or filters.
  • Same camera, lighting, distance and background for the before and the after.
  • After photos are taken at least two weeks post-treatment, once swelling has settled.
  • Each pair shows the same patient at the same angle.
